OOTD: The Igigi “Golden Flowers Gown”

I had the honor of Yuliya Raquel and Ozlem Arpaci of Igigi to send me their new “Golden Flowers Dress” for a review a few weeks ago. I knew right away I had to wear it for a special occasion and what better one that my open house today of The Plus Academy VIRGINIA. I’m a color coordinated type of person so when I saw the bold florals that are in this dress, I based my whole open house around that theme. Of course everything was the signature Plus Academy purple but I also had   flowers all over the decor and on the gift bags just to match my dress. (I know, it’s a little over the top but hey that’s the Bella Styles way, lol!).

Anyway, the dress was an instant attention grabber, as I knew it would be. I myself have had it hanging in front of  my closet door since I received it and I looked at it everyday counting down the days until I could wear it. When you put it on there’s a stretch purple halter strap that goes around your neck first for added bust support and then you tie the other halter strap bodice over that. (Sidenote: As far as undergarments are concerned, I wore a black strapless “Butterfly” bra and a long-leg spanx  underneath this gown ).

I really like the way the skirt of the dress kinda cascades with you as you walk. It’s also fully lined so you don’t have to worry about the sun showing off all your goodies when you step outside. The material is poly/elastane  with an empire waist & a full charmeuse skirt.  I’m 5’9 so the 59-61 inch hem fell perfect over my 3 inch heels.  I’ve never been married but after wearing this dress I now know how a bride feels on her special day. I truly felt like a queen in this gown.
