OOTD: “Asos Cage Shirt, Dots Military Boots & Liquid Leggings”

I’m tired as crap posting this so excuse any misspellings if I have any, lol.  I went out last night to a comedy show then TGIFridays and met up with some of my old friends and family that I hadn’t seen all year. So I made the best of it and tried to hang, but boy am I tired now. So anyway I’m gonna do a quick OOTD post before I snooze for the rest of the  day, lol. I have worn this Asos Curve Cage shirt before but changed it up a bit for tonight. Since it’s Halloween weekend I wanted to go for a “dominatrix” look, haha. I paired it with my Ashley Stewart liquid leggings and new Dots military boots. (Yes,  these boots really fit wide calves comfortably too). The leggings run a little large so go a size smaller for a great fit. I also had been waiting to pull out this Ashley Stewart cage belt so I paired it with that too. Anyway, here goes….

The “Squeem Magical Lingerie”

My local Ashley Stewart employees know that I like to be up to date on all the new items that come in the store so today when I got the call that these new products were in, I immediately ran up to the store. (Yes, I feel like a VIP, lol). I mention this time and time again but us curvy ladies have to look “presentable” in our clothes when we leave the house. I have every foundation garment out I think from the Body Magic, Skineez to the Miraclesuit. I personally don’t like bulges in my clothing. So I went to check out the new undergarment called the “Squeem” that just came in the store today. Being that I’m a  size 18/20 I tried on a 3X and it fit perfect. It’s Comfortable and figure enhancing and the Squeem Vest is the newest addition to the Ashley Stewart shape wear line. The flexible cotton and rubber vest lifts the bust and slims the waistline while giving your back support. The material kinda resembles a diving suit so I’m not sure how hot you may get after a few hours but I will test it further soon. It features double hook and eye front closures, flexible boning and adjustable straps. You must still wear a bra with this product too. I recommend using the Squeem if you’re gonna wear a baby tee shirt or anything where your “love handles” may show up thru your clothing. Now we can’t have that now can we?

“The Back to MAC Program”

what-does-mac-cosmetics-stand-for

Ok so I know many of my makeup junkies already know this but for those who don’t I must share. MAC makeup has a program called “Back to MAC” where after you have used up 6 products , you can return the empty containers to any MAC counter and get a free lipstick. The only exception they have is on Viva Glam products. 100% of the retail selling price of the Viva Glam products go to organizations that help people living with HIV/AIDS so it is excluded from the program. Although, you can turn in Viva Glam products for the program. MAC cares about the environment and takes back it’s primary packaging to recycle the plastic and materials to re-use for new packaging. In exchange, you get a freebie. If you return your 6 products to an actual MAC store you can get either a free lipstick, lipglass OR eyeshadow. I have been wearing MAC cosmetics since the early 90′s and this program has hooked me up so much and I just had to share the info with you all too.

The Rachel Zoe Line on QVC Is Now Available in Plus-Sizes

Last night thanks to my wonderful and fellow fashionable Twitter buddy @WonderFulMiMi I discovered that the Rachel Zoe collection for QVC now carries plus-sizes. I did a post on her faux-fur vest back in August but evidently since that time she has expanded her size range. Now we all know that Rachel’s personal style is beyond exuberant and I see that she has some great pieces that would look nice on the curvy woman. I had been looking for a tuxedo-jacket for a while and not only does the Rachel Zoe line have it, but it’s in leopard print.  There’s also a red faux-fur jacket that is really calling my name.  (Sigh) Santa Claus is gonna hate me this year with my long list, lol.

Rachel Zoe Tuxedo Jacket with Ruched Sleeve Details    $82.12    Sizes XXS-3X

Rachel Zoe Crinkle Patent Trench Coat   $85.14     Sizes XXS-3X

Rachel Zoe Faux Fur Vest with Hook & Eye Closure   $79.80   Sizes XXS-3X

Rachel Zoe Faux Fur Toggle Coat with Wing Collar   $118.20    Sizes XS-3X

Pics from Model/Actress Liris Crosse’s Birthday Party in NYC

I’m so upset with myself that I didn’t go to Liris’s Birthday Party last week while I was in NYC. Liris personally invited me but after a long day of traveling and business meetings, I was pooped. But I’ll be sure to be in the party the next time it goes down for sure. These pics look like they had a blast!!!
