OOTD: “Skinny in Stilettos”

So yesterday I blogged on Torrid debuting their new “Stiletto Skinny” Jean. Well like I said I had received my pair for review by mail on yesterday as well. Now I must admit, I’m not usually a jeans kinda girl but the few that I do have (and prefer) are skinny jeans. I never seem to find any jeans that fit me just right or with enough stretch. I did discover a bootcut pair last year from another retailer that had a tummy-tuck feature in them and they were magnificent. But these new “Stiletto Skinny Jeans”from Torrid are my new best friend. Believe me, I’m not just saying that because I have to review them, I’m being honest. From the moment I slipped them on they had the perfect amount of stretch in them and they clung to my body perfectly. I really like the ankle length and the side zip accent. With the inseam being only 26-inches this allows for you to show off and wear your hottest pair of pumps, or stiletto shoes for that matter, with these stiletto jeans. (These kinda put me in the mind frame of the “cigarette pants” from back in the day).

I usually only wear dresses when I travel but I could see me traveling in these. There’s no gapping in the crotch area nor sagging in the back area. (The only reason I wore a belt was because I don’t have much “junk in the trunk” and wanted to make sure that they stayed up on me correctly). Now with most of my skinny jeans I order a size up as so I did with these too. I’m wearing a colorful one-side top with these today, which is more casual, but in an office atmosphere, I would suggest pairing the jeans with a blazer for a great casual Friday look. I am TOTALLY sold on these new stiletto skinnies and will be ordering all colors very soon.
