OOTD: “Wild Mermaid”

So New York Fashion Week started up on Thursday and with that for me comes inspiration for the upcoming Fall fashion season. Now although the collections being shown on the runway are for Spring/Summer 2015, I’m ready for some cool weather and cute fashions for the Fall. First up on my must have list is this animal print mermaid dress by Ashley Stewart ($49.50). This dress recently hit their site and is a web exclusive. Exclusive is just the word for it too. The fit is curve friendly and makes it one sexy number. That is why I added the sexy swag chain belt ($16.50)  with it. But instead of wearing it around the waist, I styled it a little differently and wore it as a necklace. The dress is a statement piece all on its own so I would just wear a plain pair of black pumps with it as to not over do it. The mermaid dress would be a classy number to wear to one of the fashion week shows or for going out for cocktails to enjoy some great wine with friends!
