STEP UP FOR A GREAT CAUSE
The Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY), it’s charitable foundation and QVC hold an annual fundraiser, QVC Presents, “FFANY Shoes on Sale.” This is one of the footwear industry’s largest charitable events, raising significant monies to exclusively fund innovative breast cancer research centers and facilities across the United States.
The Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY®) and QVC® are once again joining forces for the 17th Annual QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale,” an annual gala and charitable shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research.
This year, Fergie, renowned artist and member of the six-time Grammy® award winning group The Black Eyed Peas will spread this message and join the fight against this disease as the 2010 spokesperson.

Net proceeds benefit breast cancer research and education at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and various other national cancer centers. The Women’s Cancers Program has been a beneficiary from this event for more than a decade and has received more than $3 million for its Breast Oncology Center.
FFANY will honor two outstanding individuals for their tremendous leadership and commitment to finding a cure for breast cancer – Sidney Kimmel, distinguished philanthropist and Founder and Chairman of Jones Apparel Group, and Ronald A. Fromm, Chairman and CEO of Brown Shoe Company, Inc. Both honorees will be given the Humanitarian Award – which will be renamed this year to the FFANY Jodi Fisher Humanitarian Award.
