My Review of the “Miss Tina” Collection at Wal-Mart
Today I made it my business to go to my closest Wal-Mart to view and try-on some pieces from the new clothing line from Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles. The line is called “Miss Tina”. I was surprised to see that there wasn’t a large sign or billboard to advertise the collection in the store. I literally had to go from rack to rack to locate the pieces because they weren’t even all placed together. This particular Wal-Mart didn’t have the complete collection but most of the 10-12 pieces they did have are nice looking. The animal print dress was my favorite. But as I got to trying the clothes on, they all aren’t made for a “real” plus-size woman over a size 18.
Let me explain. The line goes from a size Small up to a 2X but the corset blouse and skinny jeans run really small. I am a woman with full hips and thighs and the 2X leggings couldn’t even fit me comfortably and I can wear a 2X in other designers. I do understand that various clothing lines fit everyone differently so I just suggest trying everything on first. Now the ruffled cardigans and faux leather jacket did fit me well and I would consider purchasing them in the future. For now, I’m just gonna wait and see if “Miss Tina” adds more sizing to her line but I do overall suggest her clothing. It is pretty good quality for the inexpensive price and if you’re under a size 18 you’re in for a treat!

This was my absolute favorite piece. I would have bought this but this is a size 1X and I would have preferred it in a 2X.

Sorry to keep bothering you but I am online at walmart and the largest options they are giving me for MissTina’s clothing line is a XL???? Where did you find a 2X at?

I know you are super busy woman. I did have a quick question about MissTina’s clothing line at Walmart. I REALLY LOVED HER ANIMAL PRINT DRESS ON YOU…. YOU ROCKED IT ONCE AGAIN. However I wear a 22-24 top and I just don’t think that with my pudge of stomach that it woud work for me.
So I was going to do a remix with purchasing the “Gathered V-Neck Jersery Tank” in the animal print. Did you happen to try this top on at all when you went to test out her clothing line? I wanted to know what you thought about this particular top. Do you think it would fit a busty DDD pudgy stomach sista like myself?
