FFFWeek™ Fashion Front Spotlight: “The 2011 Plus Fashion Photographer of the Year, Lucas Pictures”
Today’s Full Figured Fashion Week™ spotlight goes to famed plus-size photographer Lucas Jones of “Lucas Pictures”. He is the 2011 recipient of the “Plus Fashion Photographer of the Year”. NY Based Photographer Lucas Jones began shooting local models in 2000. Together with his wife, Plus Model Magazine Editor-In-Chief, Madeline Figueroa Jones, they relaunched Lucas Pictures in 2004 and expanded the business to include editorial and portfolio work with plus size models.
Since then, their work has been seen in numerous magazines, including Allure Magazine and newspapers across the US and abroad. Television segments include The Star Jones show, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency Show and Syfy’s Hit Reality Show, Mary Knows Best.
Together with their incredible creative team and Plus Model Magazine, they work to raise their clients and the industry to new levels. Lucas has worked with “the” top plus-size figures in the industry including, Gwen DeVoe, Sharon Quinn, Fluvia Lacerda, Liris Crosse and even our angel Mia Amber Davis. Here is some of his work:
