The “Superwoman” Fashion Debut from Sk Wilbur (Review)

While in New York this week I had a chance to preview the new plus-size collection from designer Wilbur Pack, Jr. entitled “The Superwoman”. Upon arrival I surprised all my industry associates because I didn’t tell anyone but Wilbur that I was coming to town. Everyone was there from Gwen DeVoe, Sharon Quinn, Mia Amber, Sonia & Josephine of Curvesity, Catherine Schuller and many more. All the top plus models were in the showcase from Christina Mendez to Griselangel Paula. The event was held at The Alexandre Gertsman Contemporary Art Gallery.

The fashions were showcased unlike any I’ve ever seen before. The models were posed in front of the art on the walls and to me I think they were coordinated with the color scheme of the art. That was absolutely brilliant. Their makeup was to perfection and they were all full of smiles. The models weren’t allowed to talk so I couldn’t chit chat and hug them but it was all professional.

I had my mother, my son and my new assistant with me but my son seemed to be a conversation piece all on his own. (As you’ll see in the pics). The gallery had some very interesting art featured too. Here are the pics:
