Mulberry at Target (My Review)
Today the Mulberry for Target collection dropped so you know I had to go and check it out before it sold out. For those who don’t know but Mulberry is a designer line of handbags that usually retail for $1,250 and up. Well target does a designer line every season or so of discount bags and this time they’re featuring the Mulberry bags. I had to go way out of my way to locate a store that had them and I ended up in the Short Pump Target location. It was only a small section of them and only maybe 3 of each bag available.
The smaller versions look to be made for a child and the larger bags were actually not large at all. You must see for yourself but I like “really” large bags and these should have been considered medium size. I modeled a couple of styles for you all but at $49.99 each I left them in store. I was kinda disappointed in the size although the pink animal print one was kinda cute. If they don’t sell out before going on sale, which I know they will, I may get one then…and only then.
Denim Satchel $49.99
Large Cerise Leopard Satchel $49.99

I was left a little disappointed as well. I got to Target super early in the morning before they were sold out and idk.. everything seemed so artificial feeling. Obviously I wasn’t expecting anything similar to their 1K bags but I was hoping for something a little more lux and better designed. (Have you ever seen Vera Wang’s line for Kohl’s? Most of her bags are not real leather & are constructed inexpensively as well, but the designs and materials feel classy and pricey despite being $50 or less.) For a brand like Mulberry I was expecting so much more ><
Still though.. that flashy leopard print totally worked with your outfit!
The pink one looks great with your outfit. I agree about the sizing. The small bags were too small. The large $49.99 satchels were a good size for daytime essentials. A few styles are already sold out online, not surprisingly. I also visited my local store and wrote a brief review of my thoughts:
