OOTD: “The Dress Barn ‘Chanel’ Tweed Jacket”
It seems like forever since I’ve done an “Outfit of the Day” post but with the weather being so cold and I was sick for a couple of weeks, I never got the chance. But today I decided to come out of hiding for this new “Chanel-like” tweed jacket that Dress Barn sent me for review. I mentioned in an earlier post that Chanel makes a tweed jacket that retails for $1,000 but since Chanel doesn’t make it in plus-size yet nor the fact that I don’t have $1,000 laying around, I must go for a look-for-less look. I saw this jacket on the Dress Barn site recently and said it was a perfect match for the Chanel one. Many celebs such as Beyonce have been seen wearing this style jacket. The good thing about the style is that you can dress it up with slacks or dress it down with jeans and it still has a classy look either way. I also love the fact that Dress Barn has revamped their stores and website and now offer more stylish and affordable clothing for both misses and womens sizes. The particular jacket I have on is sold out in plus-size online, although it’s still available in misses, but I found other similar styles on the Dress Barn site. Great thing is they’re on sale now too!
