OOTD: “My Purple Dynasty”

If I’ve never said it before then I’m saying it now, I love the color of purple. It has been on my favorites list for a few years. So when I ordered these boots last month it was only because of the color that they were. Online I couldn’t quite see the full effect of them but in person they are a crushed velvet. Absolutely gorgeous. I snagged them during the Evans winter sale right before Christmas. Because of the snowy weather across seas it was a very slow shipping time for my package to arrive and it took a month and a half. But it was well worth the wait. I got them the other day and was determined to wear them asap. The cone heel is very low so not only are you getting a fashionable boot but a comfortable one as well. They are wide calved over-the-knee (OTK) and fit great with my thick socks and jeans inside them. I had fittings today for several models at Ashley Stewart for the fashion show that I’m doing next week (“Bella Styles Presents….. “Ashley’s in Love Fashion Showcase”) and customers kept stopping me asking me about these boots. So I knew I must do an OOTD. Ironically I was actually wearing my Ashley Stewart skinny jeans and an Ashley Stewart purple-print top that I got about 3 years ago. (If you like this AS outfit wait until you see what I’ve put in the show). To complete my  look I coordinated a yellow faux leather jacket and fuchsia infinity scarf that I purchased last year from Dots. So I call this my purple dynasty look: (Yes, my nails are purple too, lol)
