OOTD: “Gucci & Norma Kamali”
So I know that many have noticed that Wal-Mart is my new best friend for clothing and I can’t lie, I’m hooked. Ever since designers like Norma Kamali and Miss Tina have added collections there it’s a win-win situation. The clothes come in plus-sizes and are very inexpensive. It seems that I have been making Wal-Mart orders here lately back to back. But I am an avid fan of the Norma Kamali line. Take for instance the outfit I had on today. I had been keeping an eye on this one-piece jumpsuit by Norma Kamali for a while. But it was not until I saw it on the beautiful Chastity Garner of Garner Style that I was sold. I needed to see how it actually looked on a woman with curves and she fit it perfectly in her pics, (Frugalista Find: Norma Kamali Jumpsuit). This jumpsuit is so comfortable that I may actually order another one just to have as a backup. It will be perfect for travel, running errands or just to chill in. It comes in olive green or black. Great thing is you can dress it up, like Chastity did, or down, like I did. I was just out window shopping today so I wore mine for that with sneakers.
Now speaking of the sneakers. My mom is a big thrift store shopper and I can’t blame her. I personally don’t always have the patience to deal with second hand stores but she always seems to find great deals. Take for instance these Gucci sneakers that I had on today. She called me last week from the store and asked would I be interested in them since they were my size. I quickly said “heck yea”, who would turn down some authentic Gucci’s for only $9.99. (I am 99% sure of the authenticy of them because I see the registered trademark logo allover them). I also did a research online just to compare prices and similar styles retail for $395. I also wore my vintage Gucci fanny pack which is just like the one Sarah Jessica Parker wore on “Sex and the City”. Now I’m not a fan of “curvy” ladies with fanny packs so believe me this was only for the pics. I wore it on my shoulders while out and about, lol.

I want this jumpsuit SOOO VERY BADLY!!! You are totally rocking it! So I ordered it even though they don’t have the size I think will fit me. My shape could be described as an upside down triangle. Bust, tummy, and then I really thin out at the bottom. So on the top I am a 22/24 (3X) and on the bottom I am a 18/20. The largest size that was left online was a XXL. I’ve been reading the reviews and people are saying that the sizing is running a bit larger…. I certainly hope it fits 😉
UPDATE: My NK Jumpsuit came today. I pulled it out the package and was like “Awww nah, this isn’t going to fit I’m sadly going to have to gift this to my cousin!” After my day started to wind downI decided to actually try it on and it FIT… BEAUTIFULLY (I add confidently) I AM SO SUPER EXCITED TO WEAR THIS WITH MY WEDGE SANDALS THIS SUMMER. Though I am usually a 3X if the size was available and I had ordered it I would have been highly disappointed. I LOVE HER SIZING… THIS PIECE A DEF. PLUS 4 US + WOMEN!!!
