OOTD: Antthony Design Originals and (Nicholas Kirkwood vs. J.C. Dossier)

So last night I attended RVA Fashion Week and since it was a fashion show, I felt it was only right to step out of the box with my attire. I ordered this Antthony Design Original a couple of weeks ago from HSN and opted to wear this for the event. The weather here in Richmond has been awkward here lately, with one day being hot and the next day freezing, so I had to wear this short dress with flesh-tone hosiery. My favorite color is purple and the richness of this dress color online is what sold me. It is made of a jersey material, which to me is the best fabric, so it fit me just like I like and was very comfortable. I love it when a dress feels like butter on. You could also wear this dress with leggings too but I wanted to show off my shoes, lol. Speaking of which, as many of my readers know I often do “Look for Less” posts. Well the shoes that I had on were very similar to the Nicholas Kirkwood booties as worn by actress Sarah Jessica Parker. The Nicholas Kirkwood’s retail for $968. I purchased my pair at Shoe City a couple of months ago and they are by J.C. Dossier. I immediately had a fashion deja-vu when I saw them in the store because I knew that they were very close looking to the designer pair. Now I will say that the heel is a womping 6-inches but lucky for me, it has a 2-inch platform so that’s the only way that I was able to wear them comfortably. Now I did mix up a lot of hues with this ensemble but since the belt on the dress was multi-colored I played off of that piece as my focal point. Here goes:
