OOTD: The Lane Bryant “T3” Jeans and My New “Basketball Wives” Earrings

Today I have like 3 reviews in one post so please try to keep up, lol. Firstly, I must talk about these new denim jeans that Lane Bryant has launched called the “T3” jean. “T3” stands for “Tighter Tummy Technology”. I was introduced to these during “Full Figured Fashion Week” in June at Lane Bryant’s Blogger Conference. Let me just start off by saying that I’m mostly a “jeggings” kinda girl. I stated that in a post last week. So I was a little skeptical about these new “T3” jeans. But immediately after putting them on I felt the difference. Most jeans are uncomfortable around the waist area and bunch after a while. It’s the afternoon now and I have not once had to pull my jeans up or adjust them for bunching. They fit perfect. These are called the “Distinctly Bootcut T3 Jean”. Sometimes I have to go a size up in denim but these fit true to size on me. I really didn’t even need a belt because they fit so well. But of course I didn’t know that while I was getting dressed. The official description of the jeans states, “Slimming bootcut jean features T3 – Tighter Tummy Technology™! Built-in control panel firms and flattens the tummy. Built-in elastic waistband controls gaps and provides a comfortable fit. Classic five pocket styling with two button waistband and zip fly”. I for one must give them a thumbs up. So much so that the gift card that us bloggers were given at the bloggers conference, I may put towards another pair!

My next review is of the large hoop style earrings inspired by the reality show, “Basketball Wives”. I wrote an entry last week on how I love these earrings that the cast wears all the time on the show. Well low and behold I found a few retailers that sell them and I was sent a couple of pairs for review. (I even went back to my short hair today just to show these off). The first pair is called the “Evelyn Elegance” and they’re from Danay of “DDS Accessories”. I must say that the first thing that sold me when I got this package was the elegant leopard-print packaging that they were sent to me in. Ms. Danay really went all out. These are almost identical to the ones on the show. They are super huge, which I like, but not heavy at all. But not only does Ms. Danay do these earrings, she’s also a “curvy supporter”. Check out my “Thick Chick’s Rock” shirt. Danay sells these as well. Even they’re bedazzled in gems. I was hesitant about a size 2X at first but it fit perfect. Check out her website below:

For my last review today, is another pair of “Basketball Wives” style earrings. Now these are from Lady Lawson of “The Glamorous Boutique”. I call these the “Spikey Ball Wives”. These sell for $35 a pair with the spikes or $30 without the spikes. They are 4-inches and the balls on them are purple and pink and each earring has a spike in-between each ball. You have to be very daring to rock these and I knew I was just the one to try them out. Once again these style earrings may look heavy or uncomfortable but they’re really not. Ms. Lawson was even generous enough to send me a matching pink studded ring which usually retails for $15. But if you’re not as daring as me, you can order the earrings in a smaller size too.
