OOTD: “Bella Jolie”

Today’s outfit was inspired by Angelina Jolie’s statement gown that she wore to a recent awards ceremony where her right leg was the center of attention. The dress I wore today kinda reminded me of that. Everytime I posed for a pic I seemed to wanna extend my right leg. I’m wearing a Soprano turquoise dress that I purchased from Macy’s last month. It has like a skirt made underneath a maxi dress with a high slit in it. Now I will admit, the skirt rises as you walk so be prepared to show “a lot” of leg. As I was walking the streets of NYC, I found myself having to hold the split close not to present a peep show. But I purchased the dress because of it’s uniqueness and I knew that I wanted to colorblock it some sort of way. So I paired it with bold colored bangles and purple pumps. The clutch just served as the base point of the color scheme theme.
