OOTD: “Evergreen in IGIGI”
Today’s OOTD is from one of my favorite plus-size designers IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel. I don’t even have to say much about this dress because my readers should already know from previous blogs about IGIGI, the craftsmanship in these gowns is impeccable. I’m wearing the Rebecca Gown in Evergreen. This is a floor length gown with a high slit over the left thigh area and also comes with a stylish tassel belt in bronze. I’ve been tryna figure out for about a week now how to wear this dress. At first I was gonna keep my accessories all bronze but I just love color so I decided to wear a shade of purple with it. I received this clutch bag as a free gift from a purchase at Bath & Body Works a few years ago and it has a deep purple, bronze and greyish color in it. So I wore my purple sandals to accent the clutch and bracelets in both purple and a teal color to match everything else. I felt “extra” confident in my ensemble today and was prancing all around like I was running thangs, lol

Now I couldn’t go on without posting this info. I am known for doing “looks for less post” and the belt that comes with the Rebecca gown above is a dead ringer for the Gucci tassle belt. Of course Gucci doesn’t make plus sizes, yet, so ladies if you want that Gucci look, try out this belt from IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel for a fraction of the Gucci price. Now it comes with the Rebecca gown for free but you can order it separately too. (It runs large so I suggest ordering a size down):
IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel Tassel Belt in Bronze, $65, Sizes 12-32
