OOTD: “Desert Queen Wedding Guest”

Today I attended my friend/make-up artist, Manaya’s, wedding. Boy oh boy was she a beautiful bride as you can probably imagine by her being a makeup artist. Everything from the hair, face to the gown was perfection. She had sent me a preview pic of her gown and headpiece weeks ago and it was a straight couture look. She told me that she wanted to go for a Carrie from the “Sex and the City” movie theme. She nailed it to a tee with a huge feathered-headpiece and added a ribbon as a belt to her gorgeous gown. But in addition to the bride being beautiful I wanted to wear something appropriate for the wedding as well. As I posted in my blog on yesterday, “What To Wear To A Summer Wedding”, I didn’t want to overdress nor be too casual. So I went for a sure winner by choosing an IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel long maxi dress. It is called the “Desert Queen Maxi Dress and was just released a week or so ago. I had originally already chosen another IGIGI dress to wear but this one that I ended up wearing just called my name for this occasion. Manaya and I are known for taken a million pictures at events that we attend so I wanted to be sure that our dresses coordinated today for her special day. Well we did just that and I even “ALMOST” caught the bouquet too, I got a leaf off of it so I’m good, lol
