The Look For Less: “Prada Flame Heels”
Every season designer Muiccia Prada leaves fans with a breathtaking collection from the runway. Last year it was the monkey pattern and striped print dresses and this past season she personally had me in awe over her flame heels. Celebs like Beyonce, Katy Perry and Fergie have all been caught by the paparazzi in these babies. They go for around $900 to $1,400 a pair. Although Neiman Marcus has them on sale now for around $400 that’s still a pretty penny for some to pay, (especially for a trend that we all know will not be in next year). Well in the midst of my online shopping last week I discovered a very similar pair at Shoe City. My mouth flew open. Not just because of the reasonable price but at the fact that my size was available. I quickly added them to my shopping cart, along with another pair, and headed right on over to Retail Me Not and found an additional 15% off discount code. (Before you purchase ANYTHING online go to this site and see if the store that you are ordering from has a discount code). I will be wearing mine in an upcoming post from a photoshoot that I did over the weekend but in the meantime, checkout out the comparison below:
(Below) The “Flamingo” Heel from Shoe City, $29.97, Sizes 6-10
(Below) Liliana Sanders-15 Two Tone Bow Slingback Wedge from Urban OG, $22, Sizes 5.5-10
If you still want a piece of the “Prada Flame Shoe” action, then you can order the Prada shoe Christmas ornament for $30, how cute: The Metropolitan Museum of Art Store
