OOTD: “Sea Sick”

Sea Collage

Earlier tonight I “attempted” to attend the Annual All-White Cruise for FFFWeek but unfortunately became sea sick before even leaving the dock. I had been looking forward to this event for weeks now and it was a challenge to even attain tickets since the cruise sold-out very quickly. But being as though I was added to the Fashion Front recently, I was able to gain access to the cruise. But after getting on the boat and “rocking” a bit too much, I had to immediately leave off before the ship set sail. I was so embarrased and apologize greatly to the FFFWeek team. But I think a mixture of exhaustion from traveling and the motion kinda got to me. But anyway I was soooo hoping that no one else would be wearing my dress and I think I lucked up from what I saw before I left the boat. Since it was an all-white affair I wanted to be different and decided to go with a wedding gown. Yes, you heard me correctly, a wedding gown. I wore the BelleRose Wedding Gown by IGIGI for Yuliya Raquel, $450. I liked this dress from first glance because of the maxi-dress look but with a fancy removable belt. As always, the dress wore like it was made just for me and that’s a major reason why I wear the brand so often. The gown is fully lined so wearing it year-round is ok and tonight was breezy by the water so I was good nonetheless weather wise.

Now the dress was the easy part, it was finding shoes to match that got me. I got a pair of silver sandals last week from Payless for only $5 after my coupons but when I got home they didn’t fit. But luckily upon last minute shopping on yesterday, I found a pair, the last in my size, for only $12 from Deb. My clutch is silver with the knuckle handles and available from Macy’s, $29.99. My earring and necklace set, $8,  was a treasure that I picked up from Earrings Plaza earlier today. I need stock in that store, they are the best for jewelry in NYC.
