OOTD: “En Vogue”
Some weekends whens there’s nothing to do, I like to curl up and watch old shows & movies. A few of my faves are “Dark Shadows”, “Green Acres” and anything “Audrey Hepburn”. Which is why when I spotted this Vogue Audrey Hepburn Top from Posh Shoppe online I had to have it. Audrey was the girl on screen and very “En Vogue” or fashionable I should say. (Vogue is also printed on the shirt which is befitting). Therefore I decided to be on trend and pair the shirt up with a skirt in the neon craze of lime green. I often checkout the Wal-Mart site for new stuff and found this Alexis Taylor Ponte Skirt for only $9 on clearance last month. Now although I ordered a size XXL they sent me a XL but luckily it does actually fit me pretty good. Once again I’m modeling how you can dress an outfit up or down by simply adding a black blazer ($58.50) and in this case I wore colorful Zebracorn Heels both from Torrid. (The heels are no longer available at Torrid but you can find similar here.
I also took the time today to try out this Anti-Bulging Strapless Push Up Bra from Leonisa, $32-$40. You can never have too many bras or shapewear in your closet. This bra is very versatile; remove the straps to wear strapless, halter, criss-cross or one strap. I didn’t wear the bra as a strapless today because there was no need and instead kept the removable straps on. Now as I’ve mentioned recently, I’ve picked up a few pounds over the past year so I really need to be fitted again for my correct bra size. But this is a size 42C, the largest that this style comes in, and although I can feel it is made of a good quality and its giving me support, I’m spilling over a little on the sides but that’s just because I’m most likely a larger size cup now and need to be re-fitted. Lesson learned ladies, get bra fitted at least twice a year especially if your weight fluctuates. Other than that, I have no complaints and recommend this bra if your size is available.
