Plus-Size Bloggers and Models Turned Designers

I am so inspired nowadays by all of the plus-size models and bloggers taking their careers a step further and tapping into the designer field. We as curvy fashion insiders REALLY know what works best and what we want to wear on our bodies. I discovered at Full Figured Fashion Week that plus-size model and blogger Allison McGevna is launching her very own clothing line soon. Here she is rocking a bodycon dress that she designed and if I could look this good in her designs, I’m definately ordering a few:

Bloggers Boombands EmWhat Laura Loves, and The Pocket Rocket have designed a new collabo of dresses for Simply Be. All three are very fashionable and calling my name but I think my fave is the ice cream dress.

While watching a current episode of “Curvy Girls” I discovered that plus-size model and former face of IGIGI, Denise Bidot, now has designed a dress for the company rightfully called the Denise Dress, $170, Sizes 12-28

And of course my curvy girl fashion & relationship vlogger, Shanda Freeman, is now on her second collection as a designer and will be showcasing at Curves Rock Fashion Weekend
