OOTD: “Sherbet and Sorbet”

Today’s outfit post is my homage to summertime treats. I mean, who doesn’t like an ice cream cone of rainbow sherbet or some delicious sorbet. I found this necklace and earring set ($4.50) while in NYC the other week and the pastel colors in it were reminiscent to that of ice cream. I had this beautiful new dress called the Thera from IGIGI by Yuliya Racquel, $155 that I knew would set off the colors of the jewelry perfectly. The thing about IGIGI dresses are that they can be worn for both work or formal occasions. I would rock this one if hosting an event too. I didn’t realize it until after I had it on that there is ruching in the back of the dress also which really is figure flattering and detracts from flaw areas. Instead of adding pastel pumps with this ensemble I decided to go with nude shoes. Nude pumps are the way to go if you want to keep your outfit simple and they also elongate the legs too.
