OOTD: “In The Drew Dress for CBS”
For my interview on CBS this morning, I went to my go-to designer for most of my events, IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel. I wore the Drew Dress ($122, Sizes 12-32) for my segment. This is one of their new arrivals and I have been eyeing it since it came on the site. I didn’t want too much color for TV nor did I want to be boring. This was perfect. You can’t quite tell online but the top part is made of a rich chocolate brown color, in jersey material, and then the dress gradually fades into a jade-teal color at the bottom that is poly/elastane. I took a chance on my personal fashion choice this time and stepped out of MY box in an A-line dress. I usually never wear them but made a great choice in the Drew Dress. For me already being hippy, I don’t wanna accent that area and appear wider and non-shapely in my attire, especially on TV. But for one, I was sitting for this particular interview so that worked out perfect, whooh, and two, I added my secret trick for accentuating my clothing and snatching the waist-line in, a wide belt. I went with a teal belt (from Dots) to coordinate with the same coloring at the bottom of the dress. Not to over do it, I didn’t wear any bracelets or other jewelry besides a statement necklace by Anna & Ava from Dillard’s.
