The Cut for Evans Collection

Cat_Scroller_V3

For over a week now I have been reading all of the hype behind UK plus-size retailer, Evans, new line called CUT. It officially launched today and is filled with bold hues and graphic prints to rival that of top straight-size designers. Someone even compared Cut to this past Sunday’s launch of Peter Pilotto for Target. As in perhaps plus-size ladies maybe couldn’t fit that collection, but here is a similar patterned line catered exclusively to the curvier woman. Cut for Evans is a groundbreaking initiative from Evans that encourages young designers to be bold in their creativity and design exclusively for plus size women.  Students from Bournemouth and Kingston Universities, known for their strong print and knitwear design divisions, entered a competition to see their designs at Evans. The collection showcases Alice Farrow’s contemporary and bold prints and Rebecca Partington’s fun and unique knitwear pieces.
