OOTD (Fall Preview): “Chalk It Up To Style w/ Lane Bryant”
For the past few weeks I’ve been in talks with Lane Bryant to host one of their various Back-to-School events being held tomorrow nationwide. It is called “Chalk It Up To Style”. Although I was unable to travel to my assigned location, they were generous enough to gift me with quite a few items from their Fall collection. Here I have put together what I think a stylish teacher may wear to instruct in a classroom setting. I used the Colorblock Modern Sweatshirt ($59.95) as my base piece and worked around that.
I first wore the sweatshirt with a Merlot Ponte Fitted Jacket ($79.95), Zipper Slit Ponte Skirt ($59.95), Lace Print Infinity Scarf ($24.95) and Patterned Obi Wrap Belt ($34.95). I added my own purse to match the houndstooth in the sweatshirt but the Ankle Strap Pump ($59.95) is by Lane Bryant. Now, the cool thing about the zipper skirt is that you can keep it strictly professional during the classroom setting by leaving it fully zipped to the knee or after work take it up a notch and show a little thigh (or leg) as I did below.

Then for my final look, I simply swapped out the zipper skirt for this Pinstripe Fluted Skirt ($59.95) and took away the necklace. (Note: I suggest going up a size in this style skirt).
