Website Spotlight: “11 Honoré “

Great news, there’s a new plus-size luxury website called 11 Honoré . 11 Honoré is a size-inclusive shopping site that for the first time ever, gives more women the option to experience the best designer clothing and celebrate and honor their bodies, beauty and style. Sizing starts at a 10 and goes up to a 20. Style and luxury should have no limits. With this belief in mind, fashion industry veterans Patrick Herning and Kathryn Retzer created 11 Honoré—a new online shopping destination that’s already disrupting the fashion conversation, providing more women than ever before with highly curated options from the world’s leading designers.

 “High-end, luxury designers were completely missing from the retail landscape in sizes 12 and above,” says Retzer. “This is something that hasn’t existed for our customer, and we’re looking to close this gap in all categories and bring her the same luxury fashion that’s available for women sizes 0 to 10.”

For now, the site sells apparel only — Herning and Retzer felt that plus-size women have enough places to buy luxury handbags, but not nearly enough places to buy designer clothes made for their bodies.

The site is kicking off fall with an edited collection from brands like Brandon Maxwell, Michael Kors, Christian Siriano, Prabal Gurung, Zac Posen, and Baja East, with Adam Lippesand La Ligne both coming soon.
