“Curves at Full Throttle Bike & Fashion Show”: Review
I was originally supposed to be in New York today for another event but due to unforeseen circumstances I ended up staying here in Richmond. But that turned out not to be a bad thing. This evening I was able to attend the “Curves at Full Throttle Bike & Fashion Show” hosted by plus-size model Christie Durham. The event started off with a bike show and then the fashion show started afterwards. The runway was in the shape of a “V” and I was front row so I was able to see all the models right as they stepped on stage. The show featured both straight and plus-size models, male models and kids. Christie opened the show with a hot dance routine to “Bad Girl” by Usher. Of course the fashions showcased were mostly leather themed like most bikers wear but lingerie, mens suits and floral prints were also shown. The featured designers were: Tru Diva by Veronica L., Mr. Carlyle by Carlyle Williams, and Dee’s Couture by Deborah Cooper. Here are some pics from the event:
