B.B. Homemaker Recipe: “B-Styles Lasagna”

I decided to share my recipe today on Lasagna because for the longest time I couldn’t figure out how to perfect this dish. But thanks to me discovering the Barilla “No Boil Lasagne” this has become one of my signature dishes. I hear alot of young ladies say that they can’t cook. That’s ok, I’m here to not only share fashion advice but a little of all of my talents. My plan is to turn some non-cookers into chefs before long, lol. Watch how easy this is to do:

What you need:

1 box of Barilla No-Boil Lasagne

2 26oz. jars of Marinara Sauce

2 eggs

1 foil pan

1 lb of ground turkey

1 10oz. bag of frozen onions & green peppers

16oz of mozarella cheese ( I personally use a bag mixture of mozarella, parmesan & provolone)

15oz container of low-fat ricotta

parsley, basil, pepper, lawrys, thyme or whatever other seasonings suit your taste buds

Directions:

pre-heat oven to 375 degrees and turn on a skillet on stove to high

-wash off ground turkey (or ground beef) in a colinder

-pour bag of frozen onions/peppers over meat in colinder then wash again all together

-cook ground turkey in pan w/ onions & peppers until it is browned (add your seasonings, pepper, lawrys, etc.,  as it cooks) then drain in colinder

-Mix ricotta, 2 cups of mozzarella & parmesan and eggs in a bowl

-Spread 1 cup of sauce on bottom of foil pan, layer 4 uncooked lasagna sheets, 1/3 of ricotta mix, half of meat mixture, 1 cup of mozarella & 1 cup of sauce

-Layer 4 more uncooked sheets, 1/3 of ricotta and 1.5 cups of sauce

-Layer 4 uncooked sheets, the remaining ricotta mixture & meat and 1 cup of sauce

-Layer 4 lasagna sheets, the remaining sauce and remaining mozarella

-Cover with aluminum foil and cook on 375degrees for an hour

And dinner’s served:

(Suggestion: add a salad & breadsticks to complete this course!)
