Vogue Editor, André Leon Talley’s Interview from the “CBS Early Show” this morning

This week kicks off the “Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week” and I couldn’t be more excited. This year even more cities have joined in on the fun. “Fashion’s Night Out” kicks off this Friday, September 10th but the actual festivities start tomorrow night. NYFW has a brand new home this year at Lincoln Center in New York instead of the Tents at Bryant Park that have hosted the shows for years now. So just as a fore-warning most of my post this week will be NYFW related and here’s the first of many starting with this morning’s “CBS Early Show” interview with Vogue Editor, the famous, André Leon Talley:

Fashion’s Night Out on CBS.com beginning at 7p.m. eastern to watch a live webcast, hosted by none other than André Leon Talley.

(CBS)  Looking to get a jumpstart on some of the hottest fall fashion trends, but need some direction?

The world’s biggest names in fashion, 150 models, including Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bündchen and Adriana Lima will be strutting their stuff at Lincoln Center in New York City — where in less than 12 hours the Fashion’s Night Out initiative will officially begin with a fashion show of epic proportion.

Vogue Magazine Contributing Editor André Leon Talley gave “Early Show” co-anchor Erica Hill the lowdown on all of the Fashion’s Night Out events.

According to Leon Talley, Fashion’s Night Out is for all fashionistas — from those who can spend $10 to $10,000.

If you don’t have a seat to tonight’s big fashion show, but want to see all the action in Lincoln Center, just log on

And for a special behind the scenes look at fashion’s biggest night, and a recap of the star-studded fashion show, tune in next Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 10p.m., 9p.m. for a prime time special on CBS.
