OOTD: Norma Kamali Tie-Waist Jersey Dress

Earlier this week I posted on the Norma Kamali line for Wal-Mart and today I wore one of my purchases from the collection. This is the sleeveless tie-waist jersey dress that I didn’t realize was convertible until after I put it on this morning. I was trying to slip my arm thru the sleeveless part and by mistake my arm went into the full sleeve, which was one of the ties, so I kept it that way. I wore it as a one-sleeve dress. I felt that gave me a sophisticated appeal so I said why not go for the total “Diva” look and throw on my floppy hat too. I had only worn this hat once before and that was for my boss’s funeral last year but I loved the classiness of it. I wanted some jewelry that stood out and I chose the bejeweled bracelet and earrings that I got from a recent visit to my favorite jewelry store in New York. I wore a similar pair of shoes for another OOTD post but they were in black. Today I opted for the fuchsia pair. Anyway back to the dress, this is the most carefree material, as you can see I like a lot of jersey clothing, and you would not believe that it was less than $25. Norma really infused her quality of her higher-end fabric into this line for Wal-Mart. I must say that I have really had good experiences with the plus-size lines from Wal-Mart such as Miss Tina and now the Norma Kamali collection.
