The Look for Less: “Bakers vs. BeBe”
So yesterday I was out shopping and came across a pair of sandals at Bakers Shoes that really peaked my interest. Mostly because they were on the sale rack, but more so for the unique look of them. They were only left in a size smaller than what I normally wear, but once I tried them on, they fit. (Which is surprising considering my feet are still swollen and hurting from my vacation last week). They are called the “McKenna” from Bakers Shoes. The price on the bottom of the shoe said $29.99 but when I got to the register they rang up $19.99. (Plus if you have the Bakers “B” Card, you can save an additional 10% on every purchase).
As I was searching thru the Macy’s site a moment ago, I came across a strikingly similar pair by BeBe called the “Natasha”. Both the Bakers and BeBe come in all black as well as a nude/purple print. I got the nude/purple print pair from Bakers. They are no longer available on the Bakers site in that particular color, but if you’re interested in them, call your local Bakers store and ask for their availability.
