Bella On The Scene: “The Majesty’s Closet Model Call”
Last Sunday, March 18th, I attended the “Majesty’s Closet” open model call and casting for plus-size models here in the RVA (Richmond, Va) area. Many beautiful ladies came out to audition for their chance to represent boutique owners, Toni Reason and Tionna Smalls. I was on the judging panel to assist with the selection of the models. It was a great turnout and I got a chance to see some of my former model buddies and meet new models at the same time. The models first did a one-on-one interview with the panel where they were judged on personality & appearance and then each model did a runway walk where we rated their catwalk. It was hard to narrow it down many times because the ladies were bringing their “A” games. A few ladies were so good that they didn’t even have to finish their entire runway walk, we could tell from the first step that they were keepers. The boutique will first go live online on March 31st and the actual location site will be opening in a few months. Look forward to seeing some curvy cuties wearing the hottest plus-size fashions for Majesty’s Closet very soon!

It seems that the models have been chosen and notified and I wasn’t selected. However, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. The judges were nice and really wanted to hear what you had to say. The boutique will go far! GOD BLESS
