Jennifer Hudson’s New Clothing Line for QVC

In September, women of all sizes can dabble in the Jennifer Hudson Collection clothing line for QVC. The 30-something-year-old singer and actress wants to reflect her plus-size past and now average size weight into the style and fit of her latest venture.
“I feel like I represent every woman,” she tells WWD. “I’ve been on both sides of the fence. I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it — no matter what size you are — and you could feel comfortable in it.”
The line will consists of 14 pieces, ranging from coats ($170) and skirts to leggings and tops ($50-$75). During a one-hour special on QVC on September 10, Hudson will premiere the collection then return in November and December to reveal new styles.
