Haute Curves LA Fashion Week, October 13, 2012

Los Angeles, CA, July 27, 2012 – Join us for a spectacular evening of fashion and style as Elite Curves International (ECI) presents HAUTE Curves, LA Fashion Week. This historical event will mark the first plus size fashion show to be held during LA Fashion Week which will showcase independent designers that cater to sizes 12 and above.  In addition to being a ground breaking event ECI also has a charitable aspect by donating a portion of the proceeds to  Michelle’s Place, a local charity which provides emotional and educational support to those touched with breast cancer and facilitate breast health care services.

Making a special guest appearance will be Kim Yarbrough, finalist from  season two of NBC’s “The Voice”, a blockbuster vocal competition with celebrity music coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, hosted by Carson Daly.  Kim is also a television actress, appearing in recurring and guest star roles on “BONES”, “Dexter”, “Conan” and most recently, Nick at Nite’s newest Teen/Family Drama “Hollywood Heights”.

On October 13, 2012 Haute Curves LA Fashion Week will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center at L.A. Live, located in downtown Los Angeles at 7:30 pm, preceding a VIP Red Carpet from 6pm-7pm. The show will be hosted by Chenese Lewis, the first woman crowned Miss Plus America, creator of the 2010 Love Your Body Campaign, where she posed nude with America’s Next Top Model, Whitney Thompson which garnered an international media buzz, and host of Plus Model Radio, the #1 podcast for plus size women.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. PST for red carpet arrivals and reception. The Haute Curves- LA Fashion Week will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. PST. Tickets are available for $45 – VIP Seating and $25 – General Admission will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. VIP ticket includes a luxurious swag bag, drink tickets and access to the Haute Curves After Party.
