R & B Divas Premieres August 20th on TV ONE
There’s a new reality show on the way and I personally can’t wait. Beginning Monday, August 20th at 10 PM ET, TV One introduces “R&B Divas” (formerly “Ladies of R&B”), a new reality series that tells the current, real-life story of five multi-talented, beautiful R&B stars – Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt. Having all seen the highs and lows of the music business, these ladies know what it’s like to command the spotlight… then see it dim. Now, armed with important life lessons, they’re stronger and wiser. However, this time, they’re coming together to make a difference.
I’m especially stoked because cast member Nicci Gilbert has just started a plus-size clothing collection entitled, “Curvato” and that will be shown on the show as well. Nicci debuted her collection during “Full Figured Fashion Week” in NYC in June. I’ve already got my dibs on a couple of pieces that caught my eye. Thrilled that there are many more options for Ladies with “Trendy Curves” these days! My Hope is the newest designers will produce Quality clothing rather than mass quantity! About time All designers realize that the Average Size Women aren’t a 0-8!
