The Look For Less: “Janet Jackson’s Christian Louboutin ‘Big Lips’ Red Pumps”

Do you remember that scene in Tyler Perry’s “For Colored Girls” where Janet Jackson has on those red high heel stilettos? I for one was on them like a hawk and wanted to find them ASAP. But to no luck could I find any info on them….that is until this year. I came across them on the In Their Closet website but all of the stores that they recommended didn’t carry my size. You see Janet is wearing the Christian Louboutin ‘Big Lips’ pump valued at $995. But inexpensive retailers such as Go Jane had replica looks. While scouring the internet the other day for red pumps, since I don’t own not one pair, I came across a pump that is very similar to the Louboutin. In my size too I might add. What attracted me to this pump was the ‘killer heel’. I say that because my first time ever seeing stilettos was in the movie “Single White Female” and the character actually used her pumps to kill a man. But us fashionistas aren’t gonna do that though right? We just want a killer look!
