OOTD: “Amethyst & Cognac”
Today’s Outfit of the Day post is a color combination that I would have never before thought of together. I’m wearing the new Milan Dress in Amethyst from IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel ($122, Sizes 12-32) and the Sammy Cognac Heel Boots by Torrid ($68.50, Sizes 8-12). To be honest I paired the two together because after wanting to wear this dress for a while I realized that I didn’t have any boots that would go with it besides black and I didn’t want to wear just plain ole black boots. So I said why not try something different. Mind you, if the weather was warmer then pumps would suffice, but here in VA it’s quite nippy out so boots were what I needed today. This was supposed to be my Thanksgiving Day outfit but I got so lazy after cooking and cleaning that I stayed in lounge clothes all day, lol. But after putting it on today I was pleased with my outcome. I knew that I needed a statement piece of jewelry to blend the outfit all together so I grabbed this multi-colored necklace that I’ve worn once before here.
