OOTD: “Holiday Shopper”
Today I did a little last minute holiday shopping and since this time of year you usually run into old friends and associates while out and about, I did a little sumthin, sumthin extra on the wardrobe. I hadn’t worn these purple OTK boots (Evans, $30 on sale) but once before and it was time to bring them back out of the closet. I grabbed this Asos cold-shoulder peplum top ($38) about a week ago from their site and it’s sold-out already. I wish I had paid better attention though when ordering this shirt to the fact that it was 100% cotton. Not that it’s a major problem but I just prefer jersey material. It was so cute when I saw it on the site that I just ordered it without thinking twice. With a peplum top, I like to wear a skinny belt to define the waist area. Paired with Torrid skinny jeans, I then added a pink skinny belt from Dots (3 for$8) and a matching necklace from Charming Charlie. I got the skinny belt in a juniors size XL because the plus-size skinny belts gap a little too much and you want a cinched look when wearing them. Although I didn’t get pics in my coat today, it was a deep teal color to bring out that hue in my purse ( Nicole Lee from Bakers ) and also to compliment the belt and necklace.
