OOTD: “Shine Bright Like A Diamond”

So I’m a lover of all types of music but funny thing is, I hardly ever turn on my radio most of the time. That is until around the holidays. I love Christmas music. So while uploading new songs to my tablet I got to listening to the new Rihanna album and fell in love with her new song “Diamonds”. I can’t take it off of repeat thus inspiring the title of this blog post. I did a review for Chic and Curvy Boutique two weeks ago and ordered another dress right after doing that blog post. I swear I’m gonna go broke going to the Chic and Curvy website daily, lol. But her items are so hot that you’ve gotta grab them when you see them. This dress that I’m wearing today is called the Black & Silver Lace Double Split Dress, ($46) and sold out before mine could even arrive in the mail to me. But I just re-checked and it is back in stock in a size 2X. The dress is a great fit and has splits on both sides that are very high and ultra sexy.

Now if you want to divert direct attention off of full thighs add a pair of tights like I did. I’m wearing the Black Diamond Pattern Tights by Torrid ($15). This was my first time wearing these tights and just like most hosiery, I thought that I would be in for a fight to try to get them on but quite the opposite. I ordered them a size up and not only did they go up my legs with ease, but they also didn’t stop at my thighs like most tights do. They actually came all the way up over the tummy area making it extra easy for me to slip my bodyshaper on over them. I only put this dress on this morning to take pics in but this would be a definite option for Monday’s New Year’s Eve events. But I’m waiting on the mail for yet another dress from the Chic and Curvy Boutique so I must see if that’ll be my NYE’s dress. Choices, choices, sigh 🙂
