Trend Alert: “The 2013 Pantone Color of the Year is Emerald”

So each year there is a color that gets marked as “The Color of the Year”. Last year it was Tangerine and now for 2013 the folks over at Pantone have declared ‘Emerald’ as the new must have color. This info came out last month and coincidentally when I did my segment a week ago for CBS “New Year, New You”, I featured the color Emerald just by chance. I hadn’t even read the Pantone report at that time. Talk about being ahead of the trends. I had my model Austyn to wear these Emerald Mossimo Pumps from Target and a coordinating emerald necklace from Ashley Stewart. Now purple is my normal color of choice but this emerald is not too bad either. With that said, here are a few more emerald options that you may want to incorporate into your wardrobe this year:
