OOTD: “Movie Night”
Last night I went to the movies with my BFF and since it was a 60 degree day here in VA yesterday, I wore this new dress that Posh Shoppe had sent me to review. Now I don’t have the exact name or price of it at the moment as it’s not featured on their website quite yet, but I’ll be sure to update this post with that info as soon as it’s available. I just wanted you all to get your wishlist ready because I truly recommend this one as a LBD or “Little Black Dress”. The fabric was very forgiving and flowy. Nothing clung to you and you didn’t have to keep tugging at it all night. I felt as though I was wearing some high-designer apparel. I can easily see this being one of my go to maxis for the summer.
The cut-out shoulders added a classy yet trendy look to the overall appeal of the dress and the mirrored belt that comes with the dress gave it a little extra flair. I accessorized with just silver hoops, a zebra print bracelet that my Mom had gifted me from her Atlantic City trip this week and a Nicole Lee purse from Bakers Shoes. Both the bracelet and purse keep up with the spring trend of the black & white color scheme. I rounded out the look with my Hello Kitty heels which you’ve seen me wear before here. The movie theater was so swank that they even rolled out the red carpet for us once we arrived. (Or did I just get there in time for them to do that anyway? Lol)
*UPDATE: The dress is NOW available at Posh Shoppe. It is called the Belted Cold Shoulder Maxi and is only $45.99. It comes in sizes 1X-3X. Plus, just for my readers, if you use code ‘Bella10’ at checkout, you can get 10% off of your entire purchase. Coupon code ends 3/1/13*
What can I say, You made this dress look wonderful and without any jewelry too.
I totally agree with Ms. Cheri Cherry’s statement.
You really brought the dress to Life! Red Carpet Worthy Indeed! Unfortunately on the site it Doesn’t Standout! As with many sites that no longer use models to showcase their fashions it becomes a Lifeless/Lackluster dress Many would simply Overlook! Great Job! 🙂 They could Benefit Tremendously Hiring You as a Continuity Consultant! A little Creativity does Wonders!
Thank you Descheca, miss you girlie 🙂
You look pretty sis!!!
