OOTD: “Red Carpet Ready at the Fashion Awards MD”

Last night I attended the Fashion Awards MD in Baltimore. I was nominated as media member/blogger of the year and although I didn’t win this year, I had a great time nonetheless. It was good to catchup with a lot of my fashion buddies & industry collegues. For such an event where I was a nominee and walking the red carpet, I wanted a standout gown and one that I knew that I probably wouldn’t see replicated within the crowd. Therefore a couple of months ago I ordered this Muzical Column Dress by Ashro, $139.95. Don’t sleep on Ashro’s website or catalog. There are a lot of hidden treasures to find in their items and you can also open an account and pay as you go for as little as $20 per month. The dress goes from a size 8-26 and has a halter-like single sleeve effect with a rhinestone brooch at the top right side. So to compliment the brooch, I added all Ashley Stewart rhinestone jewelry and these INC Mylo Disco-Ball Pumps from Macy’s. I rounded my look off with a Sasha satin black clutch also from Macy’s. Although I almost missed the arrival portion due to traffic being crazy coming from VA to MD, I was right on time to be considered fashionably late to the awards ceremony and I was red carpet ready!

P.S. My hair was still laid from Friday where I had my stylist Shakeita of Replica of Im-ij to install this new brazilian remi weave that I received from the Vivica Fox Hair Collection
