FFFWEEK® RUNWAY REPORT: “The 2013 Sonsi Style Icon Collection”

One of the good things about the Sonsi brand is that they carry an array of different plus-size designers on their site. You can find the latest clothing from Lane Bryant, City Chic, Monif C. to IGIGI. Sonsi [son-see] is derived from Sonsy, Sonsie, Sonse and means strong and healthy; a women having pleasing curves, curvaceous. I wasn’t able to stay in NYC for their runway show Saturday night for FFFWEEK® but I just got a glimpse this week of the ensembles that sashayed down the runway. Omg, fashion stylist Reah Norman did her thing with the presentation of the collection. (Ironically, a few of the items that were on the runway I actually wore during FFFWEEK®). She stepped out of the box and mixed animal prints with other patterns, denim with sequins and floral prints with pops of color.
