OOTD: “Magenta and the Minaudiere”
I for the life of me couldn’t think of a proper title for today’s outfit post so I just came up with the color that I’m wearing and the type of clutch that I’m carrying. I’m in the new Idonea Dress from IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel, $122, Sizes 12-32. It is featured in the latest IGIGI collection entitled Into the Blue. I was quite pleased when I looked back at the pictures when trying to upload them for this post, at how vibrant the magenta color transcends for the camera. The picture of the model in it on the website doesn’t do the dress enough justice. The asymmetrical neckline and side ruching don’t require anything extra, such as a belt, only bold jewelry. That’s why I added this magenta, cream & black necklace and bracelet that I scored from It’s Fashion last year for only around $3 each. At first I couldn’t think of what color shoes to add to this dress but being as though the necklace had the black & white color trend in it, I simply added these Mossimo Sandals from Target, $29.99 and the outfit statement piece, the Jessica McClintock Minaudiere Evening Clutch, $51.99 from Macy’s. Once again, this was supposed to be one of my FFFWeek outfits but I didn’t get a chance to wear it while there. (Funny thing is I had packed all of these accessories in my suitcase too and never thought to wear them all together even before going to NYC).
Of course the dress is fully-lined, which is one of the many perks of investing in an IGIGI dress, but you still want that smooth effect under your clothing. That’s why I wore the new wirefree back smoothing bra by Comfort Choice® from fullbeauty®, Now: $36.99 – $41.99. The back-smoothing bra is an exclusive design of Comfort Choice®, a long-standing brand well-known and trusted by fullbeauty® and OSP Group’s
loyal customers. With a double-lined back for a smooth and supportive look, wide adjustable straps for comfort, and an inner sling for support and lift, the back-smoothing bra is a style every woman will love. In addition, this bra features a no-roll wide elastic band to hold the bra in place, and molded lightly padded cups to provide a smooth, seamless silhouette, perfect for wearing under any top. The back-smoothing bra is offered in three colors: pink salmon, grey and ivory; sizes range from 36B-54G.
For even more added support under the dress, I re-wore the All-in-one shaper girdle with long legs from Full Beauty, $54.99. (Sorry, its now sold-out). This particular control shapewear works to target problem areas, eliminating bulges, cellulite, drooping while promoting better muscle tone and circulation and goes with whatever bra you decide to wear with it. And for your most important question, NO it is not hot. It has a slit in the crotch area which makes for ease when using the restroom and maybe its just the old lady in me but, I don’t care how hot or cold the temperature is outside, If I’m wearing a bodycon dress, I’m going the extra mile for that smooth look under my attire.
Ms. Bella, the color of the dress makes you look radiant and you look ten pounds lighter. I am a firm believer in investing in good undergarments because it can certainly make a difference in how you look in those close fitting outfits. Have a happy fourth of July
