OOTD: “Stars and Stripes”

I am sooooooo late in posting my 4th of July OOTD blog but it was also my sons birthday party weekend and I didn’t get a chance to actually take pics like I wanted to. So I re-wore my Independence Day outfit to share with you all. Being as though I was on this years ‘Fashion Front’ for Full Figured Fashion Week, I took home a lot of goodie bags. One being inclusive of this blue and white striped top by Plus Moda. The Plus Moda brand can be found at Wal-Mart and is very reasonable. (I for sure thought that I would have seen other bloggers wearing this for the 4th but maybe everyone got different items in their gift bags). Anyway, I wore the top over my red Asos Dress that I had on recently here. (The red is sold out in this particular style but a similar version is available here). To be comfy, fashionable and festive all in one I just threw on my Old Navy flag flip-flops and added another goodie from FFFW, the Stars and Stripes American Flag Scarf from Torrid, $18.50. The scarf is huge and can also be worn as a head-scarf too. Last but not least, for the kid in me, I had to have this Hello Kitty Bag that I found over the weekend in Macy’s. I saw in on the sales floor and there were only two left and I grabbed one. Plus, it was on sale from $68 down to $51. This particular style is not available online as of yet but here’s another style that is oh so cute too. So there you go, Happy ‘Late’ 4th of July all!
