The Look For Less: “NeNe Leakes Leather T-Shirt Dress”
Reality star NeNe Leake’s new show, “I Dream of NeNe” premiered this week on Bravo. After the premiere she chatted it up in the clubhouse with Andy Cohen. For the interview NeNe wore a $895 HELMUT Helmut Lang Washed Leather T-Shirt Dress from Nordstrom. Now being as though leather dresses are on my Fall 2013 Trend Alert, this one caught my attention when it popped up on my email from my fave TV fashion site, Reality TV Fashion. Coincidentally, I had just recently seen a plus-size version on the Asos website. (Only major difference is the V-neck on NeNe’s). It is the ASOS CURVE Exclusive T-Shirt Dress With Leather and it only retails for $135, which is a major savings from the Helmut Lang version. Plus it goes from a size 14-24 so us curvy fashionistas have an opportunity to wear this leather t-shirt trend just the same as our smaller counterparts!
