The Look For Less: “Ashley Stewart’s Faux Leather Dress and Studded Tote”

In keeping up with the new trend of  (faux) leather dresses, I just discovered one on the Ashley Stewart facebook page that is my must have for this Fall season. It is called the Faux-Leather Seamed Sheath Dress and is only $49.50. Not only is this a steal for the price, since others can run you around $500, but this baby comes in plus-sizes 12-26 so us curvy divas can also take part in this trend.

Then to top the dress off, I also spotted the Patent Leather Studded Tote Bag also from Ashley Stewart for only $39.50. Now this bag is a direct look-alike for the now sold-out Hamilton Bag by designer Michael Kors. The Hamilton Bag retails for $398 and I can’t front, I’ve had it on my wishlist since it first came out, but the Ashley Stewart studded tote is more budget friendly and right now I may even get both colors of it, black and red, since the site is offering an additional 30% off items. Gotta love a deal and hot trends!

UPDATE 9/22/13:

I went into Ashley Stewart today and discovered that the faux leather sheath dress is now in-store and so I tried it on and it fits perfectly. I paired it up with the studded tote, cheetah jewelry (in-store) and the Cheetah Print Trench Coat ($69.50)
