OOTD: “Cat-Woman”

Even though Halloween was last week I wore my ‘Cat-woman style costume’ today instead. I’m just joking but in all seriousness catsuits/jumpsuits are all the rage right now and I couldn’t wait for this particular jumpsuit to hit the stores finally. It is the Ponte and Faux Leather Jumpsuit by Ashley Stewart. It was shown on the Full Figured Fashion Week runway this summer and I’m surprised there wasn’t a waiting list for it. The faux-leather trend is “the thing” right now and in addition to faux-leather joggers, skater skirts and shorts, the faux-leather jumpsuit is a winter must-have. I featured this one by Ashley Stewart recently as a Tamar Braxton Look for Less and I decided to try mine out today.

On the model on the runway it looked sort of short in the hem but it fit me at the ankles to a tee. You can either wear booties with it or pumps such as I chose to do. I wore leopard printed pumps to kinda match the tan in the jacket which is also by Ashley Stewart. It is called the Faux Leather Asymmetrical Military Jacket. When I posted on the ASHLEY STEWART HOLIDAY 2013 COLLECTION yesterday there was this fringe clutch featured that the model Anita Marshall was wearing. When I arrived to the store there were only two left, at $34.50 each, and it’s not featured on the website just yet.
