OOTD: “Army Girl”
Over the weekend I had a chance to try out my very first pair of faux-leather joggers compliments of Chic and Curvy Boutique ($36). You know, this is the new ‘IT’ trend that everyone is wearing from male to females from celebs to fashionable bloggers. (I first posted on the faux-leather jogger trend HERE). Well I tried mine on thinking that they would be just for a ‘picture only’ blog post but they were so comfy and well made that I actually kept them on for a full day of shopping. I originally was going to only write about them with another on-trend ticket item, the Manolo Blahnik Timberland Boots, but I ended up pairing them up with high-top sneakers as well for a second look. (Both the tan jacket and camo jacket are available at Chic and Curvy also for $45 each).
(Above) Singer Christina Milian wore her $299 Zigi pair of camo timberland inspired boots while strolling out and about town. But I’m proud to say that I got mine for much, much less. Urban discount store, Citi Trends has them for only $24.99. Yep, you heard me right. You can get the same look and trendy style just by shopping around. Now I will say that Christina’s have studs on them and while mine don’t that I’m wearing, I went ahead and took the liberty of finding other reasonable priced options for those of you who may want a similar look:
