OOTD: “Berry Nicolette”
Designer IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel recently released her latest collection entitled SPRING TRANSITION 2014. In this collection were a few dresses that I just had to have. One being the Nicolette Peplum in Berry Multi ($158) that I’m wearing today. I had the original Nicolette Dress in Mustard already so I knew that this new berry print was gonna be awesome too. Of course it’s fully lined, as all Igigi creations, and anything peplum works wonders in the mid-section area.
I went shopping at the Premium Outlets in Williamsburg last month and as always, I couldn’t contain myself in the Kate Spade store. I had been watching this ‘2 park avenue – beau’ large shopper since the Fall on the Nordstrom website, but the $498 price tag shunned me away. But good things come to those who wait. Not only was it available in my favorite color of purple in the outlet, but it was marked down to $429 with 40% off of that then take another 20% off for MLK’s weekend special. Yep, I go this baby for only $205 after all of the discounts. Sure to some it’s still a pretty penny, and I’m usually the most frugal of all people, but I REALLY wanted this bag. It matched this dress to perfection with all of the different specs of purple in the Nicolette.
